I have a Rheem unit where the circuit board is malfunctioning and Rheem refuses to honor the warranty. I have had multiple companies come out and take a look at the unit and try to work with Rheem for replacement parts.

The warranty is a 10 year warranty that expires in a year and a half (in 2019). I have a warranty certificate and their own website to check the warranty states that the warranty is active for the unit (based on the serial number). In addition, the unit has been serviced every year.

Rheem refuses to give a letter stating that they are refusing to honor the warranty with a written reason.

I highly recommend against anyone buying a Rheem as this seems to be a common issue when searching online.

I didn't like: Do no honor their warranty, Offered zero resolution, Repeated promises from customer service that were not true, No customer service at all no answer after waiting over 3 hours.
